Pacific Rim National Park Reserve (Long Beach Unit), on the west coast of Vancouver Island, is flanked on the north and south by the small communities of Tofino and Ucluelet.
Beautiful sandy beaches ring bays that open to the wide Pacific Ocean. Surfers enjoy the steady waves. Moisture-laden winds bring about three meters (118 inches) of rainfall each year to the coastal temperate rainforests. Ancient cedars, hemlock and spruce thrive here.
We visited during September 10 to 12, 2012. Welcome to the Pacific Rim National Park virtual tour of 16 panoramas.
