DINOSAUR PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA

Photographed September, 2011

This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, protected because it is a rich source of complete, fossilized dinosaur skeletons. View the nine-panorama Dinosaur Provinical Park Tour.

If you like the amazing variety of sculpted erosion, you will also enjoy my Alberta Badlands Tour, photographed in 2010 in the Drumheller area about 115 km (175 km by road) northwest of Dinosaur Provincial Park. Both areas are in the Red Deer River valley.
